Stanley Flowstate Spring Bottle

I ordered this Stanley Flowstate Spring water bottle for my son and he loves it. The Coastal Teal color is a lovely medium blue-green color and the finish feels very durable. It's a great size too, at 20oz, just slightly larger than a typical water bottle and it's reusable. The no-leak locking lid works awesome and we tested it by leaving the filled bottle laying down, then upside down. No leaks! The lid opens to reveal a drinking spout with interior straw. The stainless steel interior also does not hold smells or tastes.We think this tumbler is double-wall air insulated but could not find any details on the product listing page about exactly how it is insulated. We are assuming it is like all other Stanley water bottles. It does keep beverages very cold and is listed as lasting for up to 10 hours or 35 hours if iced. My son is always drinking ice water so this is great for him. He is using two water bottles and refilling them twice a day. Having this second Stanley water bottle is helping him to accurately track his water intake and hydration.On the water bottle, there's also a handy loop for carrying and a comfortable soft base that is pleasant for holding the bottle and also protects surfaces. Super easy to clean with a bottle brush or run through the dishwasher too. The quality is excellent as I would expect from a company in business for over 100 years. Price is as expected. Recommend for a convenient-to-drink-from spout and timeless construction.

I love this Stanley FlowState spring bottle. It is a great mix of convenience and performance. The best feature is that it is leak proof. I can toss it in my bag and not worry about it spilling or leaking, making it perfect for everyday use.The flip-top lid is another great feature. It opens easily with one hand and snaps closed securely. I love that the spout is covered keeping it clean in between uses. I know it is a small detail but to me it makes a huge difference. The attached strap is handy for grabbing and carrying it. My water stays cold for hours because of the insulated stainless steel. I like the thin shape so it easily fits into my car holder without any hassle. It is a great choice for daily use and for traveling.

The good: This fits cup holders, is also pretty easy to operate one-handed, and it has a lifetime warranty.The so-so: This can only be used for cold drinks; this is leakproof if you don't shake it. The other thing is that this bottle is hand-washable or top rack in the dishwasher of the lid only if you air dry, as it can't handle heat, says the directions. There is also no pipe cleaner included to clean the straw. The ability to keep drinks cold is mid-tier compared to some other brands. Cleaning this isn't hard, but cleaning the straw can be tricky.The bad: There is a lot of competition in this market, and for me better options, and the price is a bit high. I think if you are a cold water or iced tea drinker, maybe this is an option, but there are definitely better choices for the money.
